A pillar removal

I'm getting ready to install a homelink mirror. How do I remove the A pillar cover? I have the service manual, but it's not very good on this or the map light removal.

Thanks for any help,

Mark

Dig your fingers into the top (closest to the roof) and pull towards the opposite side of the car, parallel with the windshield. You can slide your fingers down the side to get a better grip. There are two clips on on the top and bottom... Don't be scared to put some muscle into it.

I ended up pulling the rubber strip back to get my fingers under it and it came right off. Thanks for the advice.
