Hey guys

I finally succeeded in talking Clint into trading his wheels for one of my turbos... We are both going to go with a single turbo setup with a little custom manifold work... I know that two are better than one... but hey, I love those wheels... Once you get Clint drunk... you can talk him into anything.

Here is the picture of his wheels on my car... And you thought I was kidding...

 

Those rims look SICK on your car I loved themn on the white also, are you serious though? And are those turbos big enough to go single? Also one more ? i swear lol, what kinda #'s can you expect out of a single turbo kit and reliability?

Martin... Clint and I were partners in crime on this... he was very nice to offer to try to see how it would look.... I was obviously kidding about the single turbo swap.... the PE's 1420's or the Greddy's 18G's are too small to satisfy this motor's flow characteristics (as a single turbo). You would need to choose another one... which is not very hard to do... The hard/expensive part would be to design the piping (custom) and actually fit it under the hood (it will harder to do that a twin turbo). But if you are interested in a single turbo kit, i heard turbonetics is coming out with one for the Z.

LOL ahhh i seeee, that's cool man. I thought that it would be too small, i think a single turbo can get the biggest HP and TQ gains on a car well at least on the supras and rx7's, but those are also different engines, i dunno. Anyway are you planning on getting some rims and hows the prob. goin with the smoke, is it a seal break? Ahh just saw the pic's, they look great on your car and im jealous of your CLEAN front bumper, mine looks like shi!.. But its just something about those rims on Clint's white sedan, it just stood out so much.

Those rims looks far better on clint's ivory pearl sedan than on mine... the contrast is far better b/w te two colors....

As far as my bumper is concerned... if you had seen it from up close, you would think the opposite, I am sure...
