Whos buying a 2005 G?

How many of you are thinking about buying a 2005 Coupe or Sedan? I just got my G so I most likely not going to get a 05, but you never know!

The '05 looks pretty nice, but the only way I'd be buying one is if I hadn't already bought a G, I still like mine as much as I did when I drove it off the lot!

I'm thinking it'll be M time by then. I'll be 24 by then, and that's about the time one should switch to an "old man" car

I'll be picking up an 05 G35x in the near future. We've been shopping for a car for over a year now so the wait has been horrendous. If it wasnt for the fact the M was still months away we'd probably get that instead. So We'll get the G in october (probably) and the M in a couple years

I probably will. I'm not sure yet. But we had pretty a bad winter last year in Montreal area and I was stuck three times with my G and one time in my own driveway.

I found the g real great most of the time except on icy hill and deep snow. So I will probably change it for an x. I think of myself as a motorcycle guy so I need a car almost for winter. I think the G35X is the right choice for me but I will wait to see what other manufacturers has to offer.

Re: Whos buying a 2005 G?

That's fairly similar to my situation. I ride my SV around town most of the year whenever i can and i take my truck when i need to go on long trips or grocery getting. But I turned my truck into a 100% work vehicle a few months back, i work in construction, so now it's not exactly the most ideal vehicle to try to manuver/park/etc (like it was ever right? heh). So i'm thinking the G35x will be an excellent grocery getter/winter car for us. I bet that pisses off you 'enthusiats'? >

DRMERCK

Did you use winter tires ? because i'm living in montreal also. And plannig to buy a G35 RWD. A lot of people told me it's ok like a FWD , you're the first complaining a lot about snow capabilities of g35

I'm buying an 05 6MT Sedan as soon as pricing is available. Hopefully will take delivery in December or January.

Yes I use snow tire and the car feel really safe when moving. It handles better than any of my previous car but when you start from stop in snow condition, vdc light always come on. But I get stuck more easily with the g than any of my previous car either even if I put 300 lbs of sand in the trunk.

Sometimes on icy hills, I barely manage to climb. But to be true with you, I'm near Montreal but I live in a rural area called Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu with lots of road swept by wind. So for me, the x is the right choice. it may be different if I live in Montreal.

Did you try to put off VDC i think it should help to throw away some snow to allow the tire to find more grip.
I'm a salesman and i know very well St jean sur richelieu especially Hyghway 35 very windy and icy road.
May be i should pay more and have the X
