Help with some dash warning lights-

Hi, I have a 2004 G35X with 75k miles. I am getting "brake", "VDC off", and "slip". They come on together, sometimes are not on, and went off suddenly with a hard stop yesterday.
I have dealer serviced the car since new, and a local mechanic that I thought I would try (as the warrantee is all over) couldn't figure it out.
Any ideas? A bad abs wheel sensor maybe?
Thanks, Amy.

did you check the brake fluid level in the reservoir?

Check your Brake Fluid, and also check your brake pads. Common problem for people in cold weather, but could be another issue too.

The brake fluid was low, but not at the minimum line. I filled it to the max line. I got new rotors and pads at 60K, but there is probably some pad wear that caused the fluid level to drop. This car goes through brakes pretty quick.
No lights on today anyway.

Yeah this is a very common problem.. brake fluid is almost always the cause! Your problem is most likely now solved.

This may not help much but I have a 1995 Lexus SC300 and in the winter when its really cold out the BRAKE, TRAC (equivalent of the slip light), and the TRAC Off (equivalent of the VDC light) will come off and on randomly. I may be completely wrong but I think its just kind of a cold weather thing.

I'm in Minnesota to btw.

Nope, nothing like your messed up Lexus!!! Haha break fluid is just low. I guess the cold weather makes the fluid contract enough if your level is a little low to throw the sensor. I had this issue this morning because I recently changed my rotors/pads and flushed my break lines. I guess i have a little air in the lines that finally made its way out.
