^^^ why would Randy or Shane tell you how they do theirs so you can sell them? Yes, secrets.

As for Bondo, I dont think anyone would buy a bondo grille (possibly, but doubtful)... bondo might look fine as long as you dont drive the car... I say "might" because its often wavy... but no matter how straight you get it, one rock (or even pebble) will crack it.

Bondo is just not the best method - especially if you want to sell them.

Thanks Mike and Marcus for the compliments.

It is true no one will make good money modifying these grilles. It is time consuming to make them look right.

I am still doing them for people, but it does take a week or so to complete one.

Nice! Do you broadcast your prices for the work? Turn-around time is not a huge issue, I'm taking it slow.

What makes the most sense to me, is for me to buy a new OEM grille and ship it to you + money.

For extra, would you offer a painted one? Just curious, thx.

I always liked that body style (one of my all time favorites)... when I got the G I would have considered an RX8 if they kept that body.

I dont want to speak for Randy - but its probably better to PM him so no one gets butt hurt about his offer (even though its more of a favor to the community because he definitely isn't making a living off them and not taking biz away from anyone)... I will say his grille is one of the cheaper alternatives to a custom look.

And for those that don't realize it really is a favor he is doing - he quit doing them for a while because its not worth the effort... fortunately he has agreed to help people out again.

^^^ no offense, but you can see blems even from that pic...

generally pics look much better than in person - I've seen some pretty gnarly stuff in person that people never know are there in pics...

as for bondo holding up - give it time...
