Cost of Emblemless grill?

I did the diy emblemless on my 06 sedan and it came out okay. I bought another grill so I could perfect it and I'm going to sell it.

So, if anyone bought one from someone on here, how much did you pay?
Or how much would you pay for one?

I'm going to start making it soon so I just want to know how much I could possibly make.

Thnx

Where are you located? I want a grille like candlestickpark but I don't have the time/patience/skill to make it look nice like his.

Any pics?

I was selling them for $200 ($150 + oem grill exchange) and i even made small molds to fill it in so it was actually strong. I stopped making them cause honestly it's too much work for the money, it literally came out to like $10hr and my time is worth more than that so yeah. I don't think people are willing to pay over that of one of these. But thats just my opinion.

I don't think I'd pay $500, but I like the look and would pay to have it made. I completely understand what you mean in regard to time spent.

Are there any official aftermarket emblem-less grilles for the sedan? I saw the ionic (sp) one but I don't think they have a sedan version, and the horizontal lines look a bit.... off, like they're too skinny or something I dunno.

I'll just take it to a skilled local body repair person.

PM RRYDE, I had him redo one of my DIY grills and he touched up the other one. He uses plastic to fill in the gap, comes out perfect every time and will hold up very well. Don't get my wrong me DIY grill was very nice, but there were a few imperfections that you could see up close and over time the bondo cracked on me and I had to add more to strengthen the stress point between the bondo and the grill.

Thanks for the input guys.

I've seen candlestickparks and have asked him for advice on how to make one. I already made one decent one. I'm going to put in the time and effort to make a perfect emblemless grill. I don't have pics because I haven't started yet but it'll be soon enough.

Now, I have an idea of how much I can sell it for.

how much you sell it for totally depends on materials and quality... I haven't seen any that are as solid (and OEM looking) as RRYDE's - that's who did mine.

I would never consider using anything other than plastic or possibly fiberglass (if none correctly)... no offense to those that used bondo, but that's not the way to go for a mod like this.

so OP, you need to give more info - and pics in order for anyone to seriously consider a fair price.

IMO anyone looking for an emblem-less grille isn't going to find better than RRYDE (if he's even willing to still do them)...
