What are our cars going for?

So today as i got our 2003 G35 inspected, the attendant asked me about selling it and well i'm just wondering what first gen early G's are going for these days, what did you guys pay or what have you sold them for.

2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan 5A/T
60,300 Miles
Base Model, leather & sunroof. All original documents.
1 owner, purchased January of 2003
Extended warranty transferable until 10-2012
Desert Platinum with wheat interior
18" Rays Replica rims & Continental DWS tires (brand new) 235r18/45
Stoptech SS brake lines, Rotors and Hawk HPS pads
Z-tube and K&N Drop In
35% Tint sides, 20% rear
Amsoil oil used changed every 6months.
Car has been garaged kept its whole life and washed atleast once a week
High quality polish used, paint still smooth as can be with no body blemishes
Girls get in the car and ask me if its brand new.
Interior has no problems, no creases in leather.
Fully serviced and runs like a champ.

Guy didn't want to pay much for it nor does the dealer ever want to give much trade in which hurts. The car is extremely clean. KBB tells me i should get 12k private, 9k trade in...i wish. what do you guys think?

$8-12K private. Really depends on where you are and what the market is. Where i live, the value of RWD sedans drops like a rock. But AWD are the more expensive models. I bet in the south..the difference isnt that much..and prob the other way around.

If you are gonna trade it in...demod it.

This is why I'm keeping my G. Depreciation is a cruel thing. I have 57k mi and it is mint--no stains or defects inside or out and I still love this car. Worth more to me than to sell it for a joke of a deal. I might keep this car for 20 + yrs and just keep upgrading the vette every 5 yrs to a newer c6z

I was asking for 10K on mine and still had people haggling so I decided just to keep it.

I was in a rush to sell because I needed the money to purchase a home.

the car is 7 years old so much of the depreciation has occurred

Unless its a special edition or a honda SI, you cant expect to much for a 7 year old car.

11-12K sounds about right

I love my car and to me its worth much more than KBB or NADA say, but thats what buyers go by

when u put it that way it sounds so ordinary... but when the g35 came out, (when i was 13) it was the hottest **** i sawr.. it wooped the bmw 330 and **** on the cts,(which i thought looked cool after i seen the matrix)
but really for 10k a g35 is a steal considering newer cars that cost 10k dont have half of what the g35sedan has

+1. I can't think of a good reason to get rid of it, and I'd rather not give it away for the price that they're going for...
