Quote: those aftermarket front struts are only for the 05-06 X right? they won't fit the 04.5X?
It looks like you can buy the KYB for a 2003 to 2006 G35x on tire rack.

I say do it right the first time and get coils. Trust me I went through something like 5 different spring set ups and coils are a far better product. Yes more money but since they dont make aftermarket front struts it will be worth it in the long run.
+1 as i've done all OEM setups combos, which ends up to be like 4-5 swaps over one summer. i just ended up coils. I swapped it out last 2 winters but not they will be on untill they blow. well maybe i'll do rear springs.

what i did was
- G35c springs all around.
-g35c with coupe rear shock.
-350z all around with 350z rear shock.
- 350z fronts and g35c rears, 350z shocks and then i swap got g35c shocks.
-350z fronts and g35x rears.
- then BC's coils came out and i stopped there.

All that in a summer. if you dont know how to DIY it would of cost me about $500-2000 playing spring swap. As i recall normal shop would ask for $300 each time.

^ just because there is a DIY. some people dont have tools, garage, time nor the mechincal abilities to do things.

There is a DIY for a clutch job, i bet a lot of people wouldn't remotely want to try it.

Plenty of guys on here paid for every single mod on their car. luckly for me i have all those and prior know how on my other cars.
