What is this?

Im not sure where to post this so I apologize if this is in the wrong spot.
So while changing my oil I found this part laying on the plastic cover under the engine and oil pan. I removed the two rear screws on the plastic cover so I could access the oil filter easier and thats when I saw this part laying on top of the plastic on the drivers side. Any help identifying this is much appreciated. I have my thoughts, but figured I would seek help from you guys.. Thanks in advance..

A/C pulley? ill go look right now to see if I'm missing a belt

looks to be a part of the A/C pulley, matches up perfectly. I wasnt able to dig too far into it, but it appears to be a balancing weight???. Thank you very much..here are a few more pics..

Yeah my bad. I posted the question then had to edit my post to include the pics, took about 2 min so you must have replied right after I intially posted..er or 7 min...

Damn, ill have to check in the morning. So is there a belt im missing?

^No, belt is still on there. That's part of the clutch mechanism that engages the compressor

ah, makes sense now.. glad its still all covered under warantee. Thank you very much. now I need to decide if underdrive pulleys are in order/worth it.
