Hola!

I was pointed to these fourms by a buddy from another forum since buying my G35 last week. I'm excited and eager to learn more about my car and how to take good car of her.

She's a 2003 G35 with everything but the Navi. Its the Jade )green) color (which I understand is not made anymore?) and is in amazing condition! I purchased her from a local Infiniti dealership with 27K miles on it for a little over $26k (before taxes). I did my homework and knew that it was a good deal. There is still plenty of warrant on it and i deffinitly will persue the extended. But before I go, I do have some questions for you guys:

1) Is there a reputable, good priced online dealer that everyone here likes and tends to go tofor G35 stuff? I would really like to get a sun shade for the front windshield, but none of the stores I've tried have ones that fit (Walmart, Pep Boys, Ect.). I have not tried the dealer yet, but I figured it would just be overpriced.

2) Is there a good ipod mount out there? I'd rather not do any complex mods, just maybe an ipod holder/mount I can attached somewhere.

I know why they dont make Jade Green anymore...because it looks like Sh*t!!! O Man I feel bad for HER, yea right haha green!

 

Very nice, I like the green. Its the only color I like chrome wheels on. I don't do mods so I can't help you with your q's. Congrats with your purchase!

Hey, I've seen the green - not bad looking IMO. Forget about that guy. Grubbs Infiniti seems to have some good prices on Infiniti parts and accessories. Otherwise, you can try and look for stuff with Froogle.

As for the iPod, I know some dude made some crazy custom mount that goes in the cupholder. I think the easiest thing to do is get one of those rubber jackets for the iPod and just sit it on the console. Mine almost never falls off.

Its all good. There seems to be a "Jon" in every forum, and are usually starved for attention. It doesnt matter anyways, I love my car and so does the fiancee. Thanks for all the kind words guys.

I have a suggestion, let the MODDING BEGIN =) hahaha, have fun with it and enjoy it, def. start off with a CAI of some kind or do the Ztube and popcharger intake, that's where mostly everyone starts off.. Then you end up like me lol, i only have 1 more mod to do before im out of NA mods except for rebuilding and stroking my engine.. Martin

Welcome to the forums ... I'm just a newbie myself ... my G35x is coming October. Most of the people here are nice and helpful!

I think Jade Green is a pretty cool / rare color!

Thanks Empz, it seems to be a good community. BTW, is the only difference between the G35 and the G35x the AWD? Just curious.

Welcome.

I like green - it was the color of the first G35 I saw outside of the dealer when I was shopping for mine in 2002.

As for the iPod install, you can go from simple to whiz-bang. You might give the following article a read:
