Exclamation G35x and STechs = Uneven drop...

Was cleaning out the car and noticed my driver side rear is lower. I have a 1 finger gap on the right and less than 1 finger gap on the left. Camber is noticeably worse as well. Is this due to need the alignment (not done yet) + camber kit? Worried as my 19s go on tomorrow and need to be able to drive w/o rubbing them to hell.

1 month and about 500 mi. Did just fill up the tank. Still .25-.5" is a decent difference.

How the heck can you drive it without it being properly aligned? Get a camber kit and get it setup correctly.

Drives fine, just the drop is off. Yes, I know an alignment needs to be done. Kit being installed this or next week.

Coilovers should solve your problem

obviously...but not in the budget currently. Wondering if this is just a characteristic of the springs or if I have another issue.

It sounds like you just definitely need a camber kit and alignment. i would try to avoid driving it as much as possible.. and don't put the new rims on!

Sometimes springs settle differently, my front right is a tad bit lower than my front left and my rear right is a tad bit lower than my rear left

dont drop without alignment. tires wear fast if camber is off.

alright all of you guys are freaking out about camber.....yes its a tire wearing angle but most of the time you want a little negative camber ESPECIALLY if he is using his car for any type of track use or just loves to take hard corners. There are plenty of guys on here running crazy amounts of negative camber for their dd cars. Now if you have positive camber i would say fix it right away since you're actually loosing tire to road surface contact on most turns. I'd say give your car a little bit longer for your springs to settle, if they still dont settle right look at other variables like how much gas is in your car, if you have anything in the backseat, incorrect installation, any of these things can cause it to be a little lower on one side.

/end rant

i had tein htechs on my sedan, purchased new, ran them for 3 months. never settled perfectly. one of the rears was higher than the other 3 corners. so, got rid of them and got coilovers haha you might have to deal w/ it.
