Pot hole vs: Wheel = failllllll

yupp on the way to work 3rd shift and 2 min away from work i see i giant pot hole i swerved almost side swiped another car and still hit the hole !!!! bent the rim ... the money i have for my fender roll is now being used in the morning to get my wheel fixed .... luckily i still made it to work with no flat tire . and worked 10 hrs and came back and air was still in the tire so thats a good sign . front wheel is fine just the rear rim bent .. but i think it can be fixed !!! what a day WHAT a day

yea its really not that bad its only like a inch long right on the lip the rim itself is not bent ... i talked to the guy locally and he said the way i told him and it really isnt all that bad he said like $50+ bucks ... i need it done :-(

ouch. sorry to see that, i live in an area with sh!tty roads too..hopefully i won't regret going low and stretching some tire soon

i need a new tire got a lump on my current one....i love how san francisco is fixing up all the side streets that no one drives on and the main streets have potholes with white paint around them

yea i hear you .. around here all the side roads have blue paint around them and nothing is fixed on the main roads .... i was pissed when this happen earlier !!! it sounded like a shot gun going off when i hit it !!!! im lucky the tires didn't blowww

here what i have on my tire....looks like a zit

oh well im getting some different tires now so im going 285/35 in the rear since my fenders are now rolled flat

dang i got really lucky my tire didn't do that ... i just got all them put on the other week ... yea im thinking my next rears are going to be either 275 or 285 ... i haven't decided yet ... im trying to get one thing done first and move slow but i always keep running into WALLS lol

Man i feel your pain. Around here our potholes are so big that they put cones and orange barriers IN them...

All the snow/rain we got this year REALLY screwed up the roads.
I too was a victim.

After HUGE POTHOLE


Tire took most of the beating and is fine. The rim got a slight bend in the lip.

yupp thats exactly what mine looks like .. i took it to the shop this morning after working all night long on 1 hours of sleep or cat nap i should say .. the guy told me $120 and the wheel will be rand new again !!! is that a decent price ???
