Hi, after reading through many posts in here and haven't physically try it.
A 2006 G35 Sedan Rear shock part# of 56210 CM40D I am not able to find/google it anywhere and come up. Can any one help? does anyone have the 2006 G35 Sedan 6mt/sport can check?

Did you read this? FS: 6mt Sedan springs and struts

Or you just want to verify if they are really from 06' G35 sedan 6mt/sport?

FYI, a quick call to Riverside Infiniti parts should get you the answer.

He definitely read that post, because he he ended up buying the parts (I'm the seller). He is concerned because another member ended up getting struts that wouldn't fit: https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...sion-help.html

Obviously I know they came off an 06 6mt sedan, but it would be nice if other owners could confirm that part#. For 2006 the sport strut/shocks were black. It would also be interesting to know if they changed the part number when they went from red to black.

So can any sport sedan owners look at their shocks and tell us the part#?

Is it about that member got the rear struts, only to find out they are too short, then got unhappy with the seller? Can you repost the link? The previous link didn't work.

I recently put 06' non-sport coupe suspension on my 03.5 sports sedan, and I didn't see any part# label on the red rear struts I took off, but I'll check again tonight. The OP can always call Tony @ Riverside Infiniti to find out the exact part#.

That is correct, and I fixed the link in my post above.

Thanks for fixing the link. Yeah I'm 95% sure that guy overreacted by just looking at it. Here's s shot I took before putting mine on. I just pulled the coupe strut to line up the mounting holes. The ride height is mostly determined by the springs.

Hi guys,
Have you determine 56210-CM40B rears does work?
Currently I have 56210-CD300 on my 03 sedan and that revised rear springs, that's why is so low.
I did remember checking out the height with 56210-CD300 and the old nonsport sedan springs, the height was about the same, so yeah, "The ride height is mostly determined by the springs.".

The main reason I want to go back to the sedan sport is because I want a bit more sportier but not coupe's sport characteristics... I realize if I continue this I would need larger wheels, other suspension enhancements, and other stuff, don't want to do it.
