Coming up to 60K..

im getting close to 60K miles and have been thinking about upcoming maintenance. At 30K I did a trans flush and diff fluid change.

For 60K im going to do another trans flush and diff change, but also a brake fluid flush, and coolant flush. Just did my oil so im good for now. Anything else I should do?

Only other things that weren't mentioned would be check your belts and your spark plugs. Plugs should be OK but check for pooling oil before the powertrain warranty runs out.

Janik you should be ashamed of yourself for asking this question.

Brake fluid is the one think not changed enough in my opinion. I feel it should be changed every 2 years max....1 if you live in humid areas. The fluid can absorb moisture in a year and dramatically affect feel.

I do mine yearly and notice improvement In the pedal feel each time.

I'd also do a coolant flush, trans and diff flush as well...and check your valve covers

My car is nearly 8 years old, has 85K miles, and I've never replaced the coolant It still tests out completely fine though. Also when I changed out the coolant (one time only) in my old VQ30 with 100K miles, the coolant was perfectly clean. I'm pretty resistant to changing the coolant but maybe once every 100K miles. Coolant has come a long way in the past 10 years. That's just me though. Brake fluid hasn't been changed either and the brakes are still grabby as hell on the auto-x and have never experienced fade. This is something I do need to do though. It is a good idea to change the fluid every few years. The differential fluid really only needs to be replaced once unless you're a road racer. I'd inspect the belts and change the plugs and do a tranny only drain. That's really about it.

thanks guys. Ill have them check the belts too. Im having the work done at Nissan and they want me to put in synthetic differential fluid because "its an Infiniti". I know at 30K they just put in normal Nissan 80W gear oil. Should I go synthetic?
