you just said it, its only flared out because the screws had to the screwed in. Once you start screwing them in, you will put a pressure on the bumper.
Mine fit perfectly without screwing in any screws at all.
Also you test fitted it on a Nismo front bumper. The 05-06 oem lip does fit on the nismo, but require modding to do so. Therefore, even if yours fit perfectly on the nismo, it wont on the regular 05-06 stock bumper. I dont see how an oem lip, made to fit a wider bumper will fit perfectly on a narrower bumper?

i don't think it's the size that's off, i think it's the contours at the edges of the Nismo bumper. i still would rather do the coupe lip on my Nismo over modding the 05-06 to fit. i will try and test fit a poly JP Visage for the coupe HOPEFULLY this weekend.
there is a local shop that i just found its like a no name shop and i called them and they have a few lips for a g35 coupe and im going there friday morning/afternoon for some test fitting ... ill keep everyone posted

i have been doing some talk with rick at riverside about just giving a shot on a 07+ sedan lip on a 05/06 he said it might not but its worth a try ... he will be getting back with me on this ....
IMO the 05/06 lips vs the 07+ lips don't look to off .. its worth a shot and nothing to lose
