The lip I posted is the closes to the 05 OEM lip, unless you want to buy one that is made of carbon fiber by seibon which is at least 3 bills..
Interesting discovery and thanks for looking into this. In the photo, to me it looks like its all flared out on the sides...unless it just looks that way from the angle...or something you said about the screws?
Either way.......progress is good!

The ebay one will look like the g37 sedan, attached pic
however, the OEM lip has that little extra on the side, not sure if anyone has any preference
i dont think anyone would want theirs flared out like that on the sides in the earlier photo...i cant be the only one who noticed that....
the 37 one def fits the new gens better than ours, lookswise. Fitmentwise, id be interested to see how it sits.

um, I don't think you understood what I meant. There are two screws on the front lip that needs to be screwed in, since it was not...hence the flaring..
imho, the coupe lip is not gonna work. The pic that you showed is of the coupe lip without any force acting on it just resting on the bumper. You have the sides flared out. True, you can screw in and make it fit, but that would be called bending the lip and putting a constant pressure on the lip. If you push the sides in, the front will either go up, or down. Thats how physics work. This guess is based on going through ebay lips one after another before spending money on an oem lip.
When installing my oem lip, it rested with no pressure flush with the bumper. Thats the safest way. You can lightly crash against a curb and the oem sedan lip will just have scuff marks whereas the coupe lip will most likely break apart or fall off. The coupe is wider than the sedan.
of course, this is just imho.

The oem coupe lip fit without any added pressure, once again, it is only flared out because the screws had to be screwed in and I am not going mess up my bumper for a lip that I did not want, no thanks..
