Can anybody comment on the long-term durability of the flexible fiberglass?

any crash, will most likely break the fiberglass, however, fiberglass can easily be fixed. With Poly, even though it is more durable, it is much harder to fix.

I realize fiberglass is somewhat fragile, but didn't know if this 'flexible fiberglass' was any different.

Also, I've heard stories about fiberglass warping after being exposed to the sun for long periods of time. Hope that's not the case here.

I kinda disagree. Poly can be heated and reshaped. Fiberglass can shatter like a glass vase and be a real pain in the ***.

I read that it was typically the more flexible types that do it. Something to do with the chemicals used to make it flex. I doubt this is a problem with any high quality piece, but just wondered if there were any customer reviews.

Guys from the pictures, we can tell that the product is pretty flexible. Not asking anyone to put it under a train or some, but this look like a good product to have.
We've for months been looking for a vendor to get this made, then for a loaner-lip. Now that we have both and that the product is in the final stage, those that Really wants It, go get your money. The rest that are only here to complain or slow people progress, please move to another tread, let us quietly wait for our product. Do not mean to disrespect anyone.

I hope this wasn't directed at me.

^ I didn't think you were being negative. Not sure what they are referring too.
