I saw and touched the replica lip today (in all the right places).....and it is good. Test fit went really well on my front bumper & Ionic is gonna post up fitment pics tonight. Woooooo, I've got my OEM lip back on again. Sheboygan!

From drop off date of July 15th to today, August 18th - 35 days to get the mold done and replica lips ready for sale......very impressive manufacturing timeframe for a vendor .

Thanks Jose!

Nice, can you comment on how flexible it is compared to the OEM lip? I'm not really concerned about it, just curious since you had access to both to compare.

Here's an example of how flexible the fiber-reinforced plastic that Jose uses for the lip:

Although we didn't go to that extreme with the replica lip today (it was already painted), we did bend and twisted it around a fair amount. It seems to be more bendy and flexible than the OEM lip IMHO. I'm pretty sure we couldn't twist the OEM lip like the FRP lip pictured above. I didn't weigh them both but for comparison's sake the replica seems to have a little more heft than the OEM lip.

Yes, the lip will fit 03/04 Nismo bumpers but you will need to get a body shop to modify it. Not sure how much modding it needs to fit, but it has been done before by GGG-G35 and Jmonsale:

OK guys!! Here are the test fit pics!!! Big thanks for pnn23 for taking the time to make this happen, being flexible with the time, dates and places where we met up!!

The fitment is excellent!! The lip fit snug without any problems. Please keep in mind that these are not fully installed pics, we just slipped it on without tightening it down with any screws, double sided tape or push in tabs.

The GD thread will be posted tomorrow morning!! I'm beat as hell, and need to get some rest.

Thanks guys!!
