This may have been discussed in the past, but I have noticed more Hyundai Genesis on the road up here in Canada, which made me think: did Hyundai copy the G coupe? They look very similar, not quite as slick but very close.

gatta admit, the new Genesis coupe is a pretty sweet looking car! i saw one on the freeway the other day, i think it had the oem ground effect kit and oem sport rims and i couldnt look away! im personally not a big fan of two doors other then the kouki s14, but that thing is sexy!

actually if u look at the genessis sedan the front is all g35 sedan and the rear is all bmw 5series. they picked at these two for the sedan

 

ill admit , genesis looks above average and hyundai has been surpassing the name recognition of being crappiest

Yes. Yes they did. It's no secret either. The sedan takes styling from pretty much every luxury sedan on the market. IMO it looks good, feels good, and drives great.

As for this car being crap. No, no its not. Can it compare off the line? Of course it can.
I used to be a Hyundai basher looking at the Tibby. After a few years down the road Hyundai proved their build quality has been on par.
Now comes Hyundai's rear wheel coupe with packages geared towards performance at a low price.
Now lets not compare our cars or other luxury cars to the line up here.
What would YOU rather be shot dead in?

Honda?
Toyota?
Scion?
Or how about a 300 HP RWD Hyundai?
