can you raise the windows on the older models that come without the ikey?

 

You can lower the windows on all Gs from the keyfob. The only way you can raise the windows on any of them is with the KPtechnologies NM20 window module. It is compatible with the '03-up Gs.

 

^^^ Hey KPierson........what's all involved on adding the KPtechnologies NM20 module on an 04 g35? I have all windows go down with the keyfob now. How hard is the I stall and programming?? ^^^

 

It's pretty simple - remove the drivers door panel, connect 5 wires and you are done. There are some pretty good DIY threads for the NM20 in the '03/04 coupes.

There is no programming required.

 

I would buy one of those if the range on the remotes didn't suck so bad... sombody needs to figure out how to fix that

 

The range from car does seem to vary quite a bit. I get decent range - around 100' making the remote module very useful. I've heard of people saying they can't get 10' of range out of the system. If yours is that bad I would suggest changing batteries and if that doesn't help replace the remote to see if that makes a difference.
