I've heard that 3m Headlight restorer product works wonders.

But you did a pretty good job with your headlights.

screensavers: I didn't use anything special at all. I used the black magic product, on a new window cloth. It was a smooth cloth, I put a little bit on the headlight, and rubbed in circles. Then applied more as needed and wiped the excess off around the edges and car.

I was way easier than I thought, I figured I would have been out there for more than 30 mintues, but it was quick. I finish before half time was over in the Lakers game.

thanks steadfast. my coworker used the 3m headlight restorer, but he had to sand them and all that.

if your headlights are bad you have to sand them, but mine weren't too bad as you can see in the before pictures, so just cleaning them with a cloth worked perfectly.

This won't last more than a month without some type of protection like clear vynl overlay.

Toss a few coats of wax on there. It's been 7 months or so since the last time I put. plastX on them and polished them up. Holds up well and I only redo just to stay on top of things.

screensavers- If they aren't bad you can clean there real easy. I wetsanded my headlights before, I just couldn't remember the grit #'s. I dont know how bad your headlights are but give them a shot with some headlight restorer first.

azt & mustang- I threw some wax on last night after I posted up the pictures. So hopefully it will hold up, got a long summer ahead of us here in Cali

Make sure you stay on top of it. In a few months, redo it and rewax them just to keep them fresh and protected. Don't wait for them to start to yellow again

haha I'm on top of it now, I had them buffed when I bought the car (for free by Infiniti when I had my oil changed) and they were ok for 2-3 months, then I just slacked off on buffing them out again. Happy I did it though. They look brand new, my HIDs are like real HIDs now and not just bright headlights haha

Thanks for posting the before/after pics, newbie.
I was sure I would have to wetsand, but after seeing how yours came out, think I will try PlastX first and see how it comes out. My lights don't look as bad as yours were.

Another question - did you mean BLUE magic, and not black magic?
