Window Runner Alignment

I recently took out the window runners (two bars that the window slides up and down on) to make it easier to install some sound deadener. The problem I have is that the holes don't line up.

I took a look at this video for the coupe (http://infinitihelp.com/diy/gcoupe/p..._procedure.htm) and noticed that the bolts from the bottom of the window runner come from the inside and a nut goes over the black metal piece covering the entire inner door panel. I don't recall it being like that when I took it off, but I'd like to verify if that is how it's supposed to be. I took both of them off so I can't check the other to verify.

Not sure if it's quite clear what I'm saying, a little tough to describe without pictures but I'll try and get some.

After getting it all aligned, do I need to reset the motor? Right now the window rolls up and down just fine but the window runners are not secured.

I finally got it, and it didn't take much effort or time this time around.

For future reference for anyone:

The sedan is different. As I had recalled the sedan has bolts that go into the black metal piece and then into the window runner. The coupe has a bolt going into the back of the window runner and out through the black metal piece. And from there a washer and nut is attached to the bolt.

I had to use some ********* to hold the runner in place while getting the bolts in on the upper ones, lower ones weren't so bad. Unlike the coupe, the sedan wiring is in front of the black metal piece, not behind.

Don't worry, some day you'll know what a real pair looks like.
