BMW m5 remote mount setup.

The drawback to a remote mount can sometimes be greater turbo lag due to the distance. One way to cure this is a roots style blower with the turbos.

Duel power adders can be used....case in point this 1200 hp cobra with roots blower and twin turbos

Wont screw up your car..

Will:

Potentially allow exhaust fumes (carbon monoxide) into the cabin.

have some hefty fines if you get caught by the police for removing your muffler (it's illegal for street driving).

Wake up your neighbors if you leave late or get home too late.

When I had no muffler I would always get asked what muffler I had because it sounded nice and deep, no rasp, and was pretty loud. It's impossible for not having a muffler on your Eclipse to give you an idea of how it would sound. Take off the mufflers on a Vette, you think that's gonna sound rice as well? I mean if you're comparing the G35 to the Eclipse, might as well say the same about a Vette, or even an old muscle car. Haven't you seen those vehicles without mufflers? They sound FAAAAR from rice. And that's why I was saying it can't be rice. In this case, your opinion is false. Even the looks, because you can't tell if there is a canister or not if the bumper hangs low. And if it doesn't, it could be a modified exhaust.
If i take off the muffler it already to me looks weird. In terms of sound i had to change my stock exhaust to a borla. Hence i know what it sounds like because i have tried it. I don't like it and i've never said i'm doing a direct comparison of both. I never made the assumption i haven't heard it in person, you did that for me. Like i said, i wasn't aware i had to provide proof. If i dislike something i'm sure i know why i do. I don't say to you or make an assumption of what you like or do not like.

Meh. You never mentioned that you have heard it in person on a G. You said you did on an Eclipse and like I said, that's like comparing apples to oranges. Stating that you heard it on a G would justify your reasoning, otherwise you're making blind assumptions and your opinion would be skewed. Also, yes without a muffler it would look weird, that's why I had mentioned, if doing it, to add some piping and a tip...then it would look like this:

Size: 134.7 KB

Size: 84.6 KB

Could always do a dual tip, but the way I did it, you would think the muffler is there.

I only had it for a little while without an actual muffler, just for a couple hours. I didn't notice a difference between not having piping with the muffler delete and with having piping. I can't quite remember about the fumes vs having test pipes but with test pipes I think I have more fumes (when I had the muffler delete I had stock cats).

Only thing I didn't like about not having a muffler was when I downshift from 2nd to 1st coming to a stop I didn't get that nice little gurgling sound it makes.

lol j/k

take it to a muffler shop... if you put a tip they can weld a hanger to the end pipe and screw it down to the muffler hanger location.
