Road Noise
I recently changed out my springs on my '05, and installed coupe springs. I also put my summer rims and tires back on. I have noticed alot more road noise this year, and was wondering if it has to do with lowering the car. My tires are 245/35/19, they are cheap tires, but brand new. My ride is fairly quiet when I have the stock 18's with Blizzaks on during the fall and winter months. Any thoughts?
On another note, I did hit an object on the highway last week going over 65 mph and blew my front drivers side tire, days after lowering the car, tire shop says the rim was OK.

So the road noise has become worse, especially from the front drivers side wheel, the tire side I blew when I hit a large rock. Brought it in and they figure without looking it may be a wheel bearing or wheel hub? Anyone have this problem before?

Well if it's a wheel bearing that is different, but we cant hear it so hard to say what it is.
But cheap tires do make more noise. I prefer yokohamas which have always been pretty quiet on the cars I put them on.

IDK whats going on. Ever since I hit that rock my drivers front has been screwed, I lowered the car the same week with Coupe springs so I thought the noise was maybe to do with that. Mechanic is replacing wheel bearing but also says my tire is rubbing. The passenger side does not rub, it was only a slight drop and I have 245/35/19's. I must have bent something? Why would driver side be lower than passenger side?

^^205lbs, but my fighting weight is 185.
The noise has seemed to be fixed, they replaced the wheel hub assembly, and no more tire rubbing. That was an expensive rock I hit............$250 for a new tire and $450 for the wheel hub/bearing, takes a bite out of the mod budget for awhile.

alot depends on the way the road is made up also
in texas there are many different types of roads.
some make my car sound like an 82 Honda with no sound barrier and some make it whisper quite
