Just cracked my front bumper... what should I do?

Well today is just turning out to be one of those days, nothing is going to plan and the icing on the cake was that I bumped into a Tahoe in front of me with a hitch ball on and it basically went right through the grille and cracked the bumper. The bumper cover and grille are toast, but other than that, there really wasn't any damage, minor scuff on the headlight, but it should buff out. The only good thing here is that his car was untouched and fine.

Can I get a used OEM front bumper cheap? How much does repainting a used one cost? I don't have oodles of cash right now (buying a diamond soon) and would like this fixed cheap.

I'd like to go Nismo as long as I need a new bumper but those are too spendy. I know there are some knock-offs but I don't want a fiberglass one as that will not survive MN winters and the abuse my car sees (outside sales, lots of miles.) Is there a QUALITY aftermarket one that doesn't look super gaudy or ricey, I'd be interested in that.

BTW - I have an 04 BS sedan... Let me know if you have any advice or suggestions.

Obviously, I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where to find used parts cheap or testimonials for a good aftermarket product.

the fact that you are not going to run fiberglass pretty much eliminates all your aftermarket options.

You can try to find a used BS front 03-04 sedan bumper, then you won't even ahve to paint it.

That's going to require some luck, otherwise, just get the hole patched up and bumper repainted.

I've got a IP 03/04 non-nismo for sale for $50, but shipping will be pricey, unless you "Go Greyhound"

i dont see a problem with running a fiberglass bumper as long as you dont..bump things (like tahoes) with it lol

i had my front bumper replaced earlier this year after some road debris cracked my bumper cover. I claimed it on my insurance since it things like that are covered under comprehensive (no rate hike). I got a quote on my own to fix it and it came to like 700 bucks for a new OEM bumper and PPG paint. You may have messed up your 5 mile an hour styrofoam blocks behind the bumper depending on where the impact was. That's a 100 more bucks or so for that piece.
