here's a good recommendation: don't bother. do some searching on this site and you won't find much support for CAI.

the stock '06 "revup" airbox is a great unit in stock form. just grab an OEM Z-tube and a drop-in filter element and you're good to go for less than $100!

spend your money elsewhere - like suspension work.

hey i just realized, 1000 posts!!! and a helpful one at that - good karma for me!

Hey thanks. K&N drop in will do? What brand of z-tube do you recommend?

lots of guys go with the K&N, inlcuding me. i've used them on every vehicle i've owned with great results. you don't want to start the "which filter?" thread on here because you'll get no consensus. just get a good quality drop-in element.

OEM Ztube is the way to go, as in Nissan brand.

I agree with above. K&N drop in with a Z-tube is the best way to go. Very cheap option, looks stock (Won't have cops hassling you if they look under your hood), and the power gains are almost the same as the expensive aftermarket CAIs

Should of gone OEM paper or NAPA Gold and change out every year. I've had K&N and Amsoil. They're both crap, in different ways. I won't waste my money again on "serviceable" filters. Motordyne has already shown that quality paper filter flow just as well as serviceable filters.

After about 2 years, the Amsoil will start to clog up. Just wait. The MD testing was stated by Tony himself and numerous dynos. I trust what he says.
