Horrible Starting Issue!

My car was outside for abut 3 days, Didnt go anywhere or start it forr that span. On Saturday I was about to go shopping, I tried starting it , would not turn over..then started again and Heard these noises from the motor sounded like 2 wrenches banging against each other...I turned the key off immediatley, then waiting 5 min and tried starting again...Took a "wheeeeeeeeen" then it started back up...then some white smoke came from the engine...So I shut it off...then started back up after 5 min..Started Normally this time!...

I immediately called the Dealer and they were going to send a tow truck to pick it up...I said well let me see if it is drivabale..So i drove it for about 15 min around the block...and off it and started it...it drove normally..weird huh!....I drove it to the Dealership and dropped it off...

I get a call back in the evening, my service guy said it was low on Oil...Im thining whaat!..He checked out everything and he said it looks fine!...

Is there anything else they should be looking at or missing?
I do know the motor eats alot of oil, but enough to make a clacking noise upon startup??..and smoke??..

So wait, your car was not working right, was shooting out white smoke and you drove it any how? If its low on oil it will make noise since there is no lubrication and you probably did some damage do your engine driving with low oil if it was extremely low.

The engine drove fine after the start up...The Service Tech mentioned he added 1 qrt of oil...But I checked oil level on flat surface b4 I dropped it off to the dealer. It was right in the middle of the l-f hash mark...And this is at startup and letting it sit for 10 min

not starting probably caused all the oil to settle which would cause the noise due to a dry start. letting it sit that long depending on age and condition of battery probably a little low on the cca's which is probably the abnormal start. and the white smoke is probably from oil in you motor thats been sitting or gas in the exhaust burning off..

Shouldn't be. Just keep an eye on your battery and oil
