G35 = I Hate HoNdA?!?!

This seems to be becoming another "what car did you have before" thread.. but I think hondas are great cars too had a couple civics and a couple pilots and a ridgeline. Still have a pilot, excellent reliability, it just seems that with better mileage comes lousy acceleration (and sound) and they have no great creature comfort options, but then again less to break..

I've owned tons of hondas in the past, real nice cars I love them for reliability. I just don't like what the honda game has become which made me want to leave. All these little 16 year old kids who can't afford a real mod so they buy cheap little 20$ rear window visors, and fake window visors. Rocking bike racks that will never see a bike.

I kept seeing some of you guys post comments about how much you loved the NSX. I had no idea what they were so i looked it up and I must say that those cars were way ahead of their time. I was so impressed by some of comments on handeling and the huge following thy have that now I want one!

For more NSX tidbits, you can google "Gordan Murray NSX" and read a pretty nice commentary of how the NSX was benchmarked when they were developing the McLaren F1.
Back on subject, I do agree that it is the driver and not the car. The thing is that Hondas are a very cheap, yet reliable car to drive, so that means that their ultimate survivability when coming into the hands of a careless owner is pretty high.
If a guy mods a not-so-reliable car, the car tends to find its way on jackstands more often. It's just easy to keep a Honda running, so they're pretty popular.
Since they're so popular, mods and OEM parts for them are also popular and theives know this. It's really easy to offload popular stolen parts than others. So here you attract certain shady characters and careless owners, and your insurance premium goes through the roof when you buy an ITR.
I actually don't suffer from the revving Hondas in my G.

most people on honda tech are douches. especiially all the douches in the s2k forums.
i used to be on honda tech until i couldnt stand the honda community anymore.
there are some cool people, but most of them are pretentious douche bags
but i did love my integra, acura CL.
used to have lots of good info at honda tech until all the E-thuggin.

lol i got out of a 01 granny looking av6 to a 05 g35 sedan 5at and i must say i don't hate them, but they are ****ing ridiculous, for example, my brother has been saying that i'm spoiled and whatever since i bought myself a g35 and keeps on saying that his 06 civic SI with intake and cut out will beat my ***, yet he has 190whp only and talks as if Honda was the fastest thing out there because there are all motor civics running 10-11's but thats with a fully built engine no seats or anything in the car + nitrous oxide.. but the funny thing is that when you smoke them they come with excuses "you're turboed" "you have a bigger engine"
