Hey guys,

I've noticed a little trend on this forum as well as others that I have been to. As a previous owner of a much loved dark green 1997 Honda Accord Sedan 5mt (Green is my fav color incase my name wasn't a dead giveaway), I must ask this question:

Why do you guys hate Honda so much?!

Surely the G35 is a superior car when it comes to performance but I must say that my little green Honda could burn rubber!!! (RIP "Ashley" )

I'm very interested in what you guys have to say...

 

I wouldn't say we hate Hondas in general.

Just the majority of Honda owners are retarded.

I like all cars

Alot of people judge a car without owning it or even coming close to the car.

Most Hondas are commuter cars and are not made to be fast.

I like all cars from 1940-50's to trucks to brand new supercars

 

I actually came from an integra type r, and i loved it.

The G is an amazing car but the feel of it just isnt as raw and the same as the type r though. :P

 

I owned 3 acuras before my G. I must say that I loved my acuras, my G is just better! I have a Honda Pilot too, no hating on Honda for me

 

I have an EK hatch for a DD so I'm not hating.

But when I'm driving it, every idiot with a modded honda/acura revs on me or tries to race.

So annoying

 

I owned an acura tl for a short while and would have to say it was a pretty nice car. I like Honda but not the people that own them who slap on sh!tty exhaust and body kits that look like awful extensions or add ons.

 

I was a previous owner of an Integra, Civic, and 2 Preludes. We don't hate here at all. The owners themselves are usually the ones we dislike so much. There is modders and then there is ricers.

 

I like all cars, I've owned 4 honda's in the past and I honestly think that its not the type of car that makes the driver a douche its the douche in the drivers seat. I know plenty of people with honda's and not all of them are ***'s, people need to understand that its the PERSON inside the car that is a dick not the make of the car that makes them a dick.

I love honda's but yes there are a lot of people that drive g35's that hate on honda's or other cars that are less expensive.

 

yea Ive owned a PY ITR as well, good car, raw.. but after it was stolen I got sick of hondas because most were FWD... I still wouldnt mind building an S2000 touge beast one day, and the NSX is forever a classic

 

No Honda hate here for me. I used to have an '07 SI coupe and I still think about how nice that engine was. As for the grinding gears...thats a dif story. Around this area its mostly the drivers of Hondas that just seem like they are trying to make their car look worse with the flames stickers and the giant Honda H's in the window. But im from the Virginia Beach area and there are plenty of clean Honda's down there. They know how to do it.
