+1 its not the cars its the owners
i drive a civic as a dd and love the gas mileage!
but this weekend i was driving the g and pulled up to a accord coupe and the driver was reving his engine like he wanted to race! i looked at him like WTF are u serious?

 

I will never forget how in 2005 I bought my 97 sedan with the alloy wheels and 5mt. I was so excited about it because 1. It was my first car and 2. It was my first manual transmission (my first time drivig one.). Anyway I couldn't wait til school was over to practice driving it and was asking a couple guys in my class for tips. One kid asked what kind of car it was and when I told him he said "Honda is the Geo Metro of cars! They suck!". Another one said "My left nut has more torque..." I thought Geo Metro was the Geo Metro of cars?

 

i sold my 95 civic coupe to buy my G def. one thing would change if i could. i would have kept it and still bought the G, i even tried to get the guy who bought it to sell it back to me.

Those that aren't from NY need to come here and see for themselves why hondas/drivers are disliked. Anywhere you go every single honda on the road wants to race you, has a noise maker instead of an exhaust, honda drivers cut everyone very close cause they think their car can just fit anywhere. Hondas aren't bad cars i remember back in the day ( 2000-2002 ) it was nothing but hondas then maximas came in and both cars were popular still are but in NY this is the problem with hondas.

 

the problem is not hondas its the people who think:

^ +1 word and don't get near a dude in a Civic Si...... 9 times out of 10 they will try to race you. I just laugh, not wasting my gas on that dude.

I owned an s2000 before the G35. There is no better car under $50,000. It was the last true roadster

There are a lot of people on this forum that have parts to make their car "faster" or handle better all for nothing. The vast majority of the people on this forum drive automatics and would never think of putting their cars on a real race track; so technically most of you are just as guilty as Honda guy with a coffee can exhaust.

I'm sure i'll get flamed for this, but take it easy on the "ricers" as you may really be one.
