9k to do the swap with labor... so yeaaa sell and get a manual.

when i was 16 i wanted to convert my auto 240 to manual.

i bought a manual g35 8 years later....

Just get yourself a Valve Body upgrade (Transgo) and a Torque Converter upgrade. You'll shift faster and put more power to the wheels than most 6MT guys anyways. Plus, you'll be ready for FI.

I agree with the stick to auto or just buy a stick. conversion will lose value an any problems thats caused after would b money. just go 6mt.

better off buying a stick. You don't have to worry about "down" time for your car.

You are looking at around 5-7k for just a swap, granted you find most of the parts yourself. My boy wanted to do this to his 350z but decided to buy a bike instead.
