Infiniti Emblem on the steering wheel

the emblem on my 06 sedan chipped and has sharp edges now. those edges cut my hand.

does anyone have any suggestions? i've contacted the manufacturer, because this seems to be a design flaw to me.

any input is appreciated....

question - the emblem on my 06 sedan chipped and has sharp edges now. those edges cut my hand . does anyone have any suggestions??

my answer - don't drive with your hands in the middle of the steering wheel and your hands wont get cut !!!

i thought people drive with hands either on on top or 1 on each side .. not in the middle near the emblem

Best thing to do is just replace the cover. They come up every now and then on ebay.

Doesn't replacing the cover mean buying a new airbag? I don't think they separate

i'll let you know what infiniti says...but knowing the customer service of this manufacturer like i do, they will probably tell me to go stuff myself...

it's definitely a design flaw in the steering wheel. once i am able to, i will be getting rid of this car and buying an acura. customer service experience and quality is just so much better...

Sounds like you got a crappy dealer. Which one are you going to?

If anything, hit up Tony@Riverside and he should be able to get you a new emblem.

things do come apart on every single car no matter what make model year ... it will eventually happen ... most things happen to cars because people don't maintenance them ... who's fault is that ?? ours or the manufactures ???

here you go i found one on ebay shipped for under 20 bucks
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/INFIN...#ht_500wt_1182
