Your storey is so familier. Same thing happened to me with a '97 Maxima, 90,000 miles
Maybe the service guy you talked to initially was speaking from experience.

haha, i got one for ya, just last month was my due for 6 months auto insurance, also had to invest in some new tires, month before that, new rotors, pads and ss lines. the kicker? only got to enjoy everything in harmony for about 2 weeks before I fell off a roof on memorial day and broke BOTH arms. I still can't freakin drive...

WHOOOOOHOOOOOOO! car is back up and running. definitely was the starter. The guy took it out and he said its probably not working because its fried from the inside out. Sorry but no explanation for that one but hey she is back on the streets!!! I'm so stoked, $180 later and I am good to go!

Thanks again to everyone who contributed and gave ideas and info on this topic.

BT- Sucks to hear that. Soon as the arms are healed get back in and tear it up!!!
