Yeah, just went through service last week. The invoice says "Side Airbag Connector". They ordered the part, will have to get it changed this week.

I started my OC test this week and while I was in getting prepped for that, they told me I had the recall and went ahead and replaced the clip/leads under the seat. Took em about 15 mins...everything is groovy so far

I hadn't even heard about this or seen the postings. Took my car into the shop today, and $806 later I got it fixed plus they did this recall.

How long does the repair take?

Done while you wait...or will I be taking a loaner for the day?

well out of nowhere the red airbag light on my dash started blinking tonight. Was going to eventually take it in, but now I have to. Hopefully this is related to the recall.

I dont think you need a letter to get it done. Just call up your nearest Infiniti dealer, and give them your VIN. It'll let you know if you're covered or not (most likely will be). My light wasnt on, and I was at the dealer for an unrelated issue. They did it for me anyway.

I had mine taken care of on Friday. They did it while I waited and it took less than an hour with no appointment.

got mine done (would have be $150 otherwise).

they told me that it could take up to 2 hours (pending on the number of folks in front of me). so they gave me a free loaner, and i returned later that day.

the car was washed, vac, and got one of their cookies and coke too. seeing the receptionists there is a plus too - they're always asking to add me to their facebook pages, but I keep telling them that I'm not on facebook....

It'll go on when you have something Heavy in the seat w/o a seatbelt. try it with a heavy bag.

Mine is getting replaced today, I didnt' get a notice yet either but I figured I'd just do it anyways.
