Got the notice a couple weeks ago - I forgot about it - LOL. Dealer was aware of it and did it while car was in for another service. Can't tell you how long, because I got a loaner and took off.

Got mine done today and they gave me an 08 sedan loaner. Hated the car and couldn't wait until they called me and let me know my car was ready.

They also denied fixing my rear axle click under warranty. I was at 71,359 miles so my bad for waiting. It started at just under 70K but I've been too busy to take it in. I took the TSB which shows 1.1 hours for both sides and the service tech said that's just an estimate and quoted me $330 to fix both axles. GTFO!! Looks like I need to go buy a 32 mm socket.

I got an 08x loaner once with 30k miles and tons of issues. Poor car looked abused and I couldn't wait to give it back.

Then I got an 09x with 4000 miles and loved it!

I also got an ex with 5000 miles fully loaded. Loved the iPod features and camera and lane radar and stuff....but it was a chicks suv

are the clicking axles covered under the 6yr/70K powertrain warranty? If so im going to mention that in addition to the airbag recall.

Should be. I've heard from people on here they had issues with a dealer refusing to classify it as warranty work but they should cover it.

Got my airbag recall done at Tampa Infiniti today. It took about an hour and 45 minutes. Even though the recall says 2005-2007, my 04 coupe was identified on the recall. My passenger airbag light actually came on in Mar of this year before the recall was announced. It cost me two thousand dollars to replace the harnesses. Infinii, the company, is in the process of evauating my situaton to see they will reimburse me. I know the dealership didn't perform the actual recall work back in Mar because there was no recall at the time, however, the air bag had the same issues that resulted in the recall being announced. I'm hopeful they will refund my money. If they do then I will not feel bad about crying tears when the dealer told me it would cost 2Gs for the repair back in Mar,

Mike

Got my letter in the mail 2 days ago. Not looking forward to going to the dealer for this. I think I'll insist on driving my car back the mechanics bay and watch him as he works, I don't trust the dealer at all....LOL.

Got my letter today. My car isn't near as nice as CandlestickPark's, but I still hate taking my car in even for warranty work. I don't trust any of those techs.

Took my G to the dealer a couple days ago, they did a fuel line recall replacement as well as the airbag replacement without me asking them to do it. All was paid for by the dealer and nothing was required of me, except losing my car for a couple hours. stealer actually turned out to be a nice dealer. Oh, and my airbag light never came on once before taking it to the dealer.
