can bolt pattern be changed?

can bolt pattern be changed?

i was wondering if this was possible, i came across a nice deal but no my bolt pattern size so was simply wondering if it was possible to change bolt pattern.

Yes they make adapters to change your bolt pattern. It will also effect the offset of the wheels.

^ what website sells them? and how exactly do they work? are they like spacers in a sense how everything connects?

if it helps im trying to get bmw rims on mine, the design is super sexy which is why im considering them

there are quite a few companies that make adapters.. http://shop.adapterkings.com/ there is one that I found with a quick google search.

Those 114-120 adapters are like 25mm spacer also. So when you are looking for that lug pattern also calculate the offsets.

Have you looked about having the rims re-drilled? I've seen it done on a few rims but I don't know about the BMW rims..

DON'T REDRILL WHEELS

you will run into soooo many problems.

Just run adapters, if you knock the studs out you'll forever be running different rotors and always have to custom order parts.

I cannot recommend redrilling wheels. I had a nice set of BBS RS's that I had a shop redrill before I painted the centers. The shop FLOODED the face with oil during the drilling procedure to pull the heat away.

I had them for about 6 months, pulled them off for the winter and noticed hairline fractures in between the original and newly-drilled thru-holes.

Keep in mind that this was on a 3 piece wheel with a forged center; I had another set of centers that I used with adapters to replace the damaged ones.

Do it right or don't do it at all.
