Hey guys, some dumb *** ladie backed into my 04 sedan and now i need a rear bumper. I was thinking about using this opportunity to upgrade my bumper. Does anyone know of any good options or have a factory bumper for sale.. I was looking at the sigma duraflex kit but i hate how these companys never guarantee fit. I never bought a kit before and I seen my share of disasters. I dont want my $30,000 looking like some civic project. Well please give me suggestions if possiable. And here is the link of the kit....

Oh, also... another reason front brakes won't work on the rear:
The parking brake is integrated into the much deeper hub portion of the rear rotor. Fronts are neither deep enough, nor the correct diameter.

Well, you could move to an 05/06 rear like I did.
Or, you could just do another 03/04 rear, but upgrade it with either a Nismo rear valance (oem hard to find, replica forthcoming hopefully) or the stillen.

You could look into the Strafespeed rear as well if you want one with aggressive styling. R1forever just installed one on his ride.

You could always have the shop do some bondo work and fill in the second exhaust opening.

You really think they had the forethought back then to make the 03-04 sills black on purpose so the 05-06s would look better? I think it may have been the other way around. They were looking for ways to improve upon the 03-04 so they added color matched lowers.

I want to know the reasonbehind it, like why did they do it on the GTR as well. I remember audi's had the same black sills. Was it a way to cut back on cost?

^Probably because that part of the car is prone to damage from rock chips, snow banks, etc...
Still looks like crap though. I'd rather have mine repainted over and over than deal with the fugly plastic sills.

every time I washed the side skirts on my previous cars they had a crap load of tar and other road dirt stuck to them, I could care less that they are black...except for the fact that my front bumper is in pretty bad shape and keeping them black with an aftermarket bumper seems like an awful idea

^Mine get a crap load of tar and road dirt too, but it's always washed off. One time I had to get a clay bar out to get a couple bits that were REALLY stuck on there, but I managed to get them off easily.
