Mine was about 3.75. From what I've read, it varies between 3 and 5. Probably depends on how your car is lifted and how long you let it drain. I wouldn't worry about it as long as you put back the same amount removed.

Thanks for the feedback! Only the front side of my car was jacked up. Which leads me to conclude that, to get ~5 quarts out, the car must be level? Can anyone confirm this?

My car was level when I did it and I didn't get 5 quarts so I'm not sure how they are getting that much out.

^IIRC....Pull the side marker off (you can remove with our hands, no tool needed). On the backside of the side marker the light housing needs to be turned like a 1/4 turn which will allow you to access the bulb. Pull the old one out, insert the new one in its place. Do all of this in reverse to reinstall.
