Hell no I used my baller Dynabrade DA
I would not touch the inside lol, I took the clear off with the 3M kit so easily lol.

Thats not a DA thats an Orbital

edit: guess that would be better then the DA I got lol, but hmm

I am doing 1000 and 3000 wet, Idk if that changes anything lol. And Ill go Vertically for the 500 then horizontal with the 800 and switch it up.

IDK, maybe yours were done in the past

I did mine with some crappy kit before, where you hand sand and they have some kinda coating you wipe on the lens. That didn't last long at all.
Plus, once it started going, it looked worse than it did to begin with.

But as soon as I hit it with the 500 grit on the drill (1st stage of the 3M kit) I could see the old coating come right off.

Then again, that is a drill (rotary) vs. DA... but still, it should have come off quicker for you than it did.

DA and random orbital is basically the same thing its a universal term in bodyshops. My sander can do random orbital or I can lock it and strip stuff hence DA or duel action. I have a reg traditional DA and a dynabrade finish DA/orbital. Two different animals when it comes to sanding with fine paper.

Armor all sucks. It's too shiny and fake looking. I rather get a different tire shine that leaves a matte finish.

4, but it didnt coat as well in some spots as I would have liked. Took 2 cans. I would try it in winter, but I have a set of coupe 17s with blizzacks, i guess i could paint them too. originally I intended to plasti dip the oem 17s but then I would have had to waste my snow tires in the fall so I just did the summer wheels since no one likes them anyway..lol. the question now would be how hard is it going to be to take this crap off. I also sprayed my side lights with nightshades, looks like crap imo..lol oh well

wet sand the side markers with 1000 (just be really careful not to get the corners bare) and then clear them. It'll look way better. That's what I did with mine.

Just plain niteshades does look like crap though.

I might try that. I have been looking for a good protectant for my dash. I do NOT like that shiny, greasy look and feel. Does Aerospace or Meguiars leave some kind of shine without the grease?

I have no idea about 303 but all of meguairs products for the dash do not make it greese, that's armaroll.

303 is just a UV protectant the megs natural shine has some cleaning properties+uv+scotchgaurd+makes the dash look new.

Thanks for the info. I have not heard of the Aerospace one... but I like the name.. I will try the Meg. one. I do like a little bit of a shine so it's worth a shot.
