What info shows up when you plug into the OBDII port?

Do you get oil temp? Tranny temp? Pressure?

Just wondering if I should buy this bluetooth OBDII scanner so I can use my phone with it, or just buy a cheapy one just to read and clear codes.

I just did my ATF change yesterday (drain & fill).

Only ~3 quarts came out. Is this normal? I've done some research and most people can drain about 5 quarts.

Mine was about 3.75. From what I've read, it varies between 3 and 5. Probably depends on how your car is lifted and how long you let it drain. I wouldn't worry about it as long as you put back the same amount removed.

Thanks for the feedback! Only the front side of my car was jacked up. Which leads me to conclude that, to get ~5 quarts out, the car must be level? Can anyone confirm this?

My car was level when I did it and I didn't get 5 quarts so I'm not sure how they are getting that much out.

How do I replace the bulb in the side marker type light? Just pop out a couple fender clips and voila?

^IIRC....Pull the side marker off (you can remove with our hands, no tool needed). On the backside of the side marker the light housing needs to be turned like a 1/4 turn which will allow you to access the bulb. Pull the old one out, insert the new one in its place. Do all of this in reverse to reinstall.

^Correct.

Side marker comes out by pulling outwards on the "back" (the part closest to the tire, in the wheel well) and slightly back after it pops off.

Plug turns about 1/4 turn and then straight out, bulb pulls straight out of plug.

^That, or in extremely rare cases, it will break into 10,000 pieces, cut your hand, your car will explode into flames and likely kill your dog.......

.........but that's only happened like once

Its easy to run a thin pocket type flat head behind it too. Pops off a lot easier than pulling.
