The paint didn't do right at first, so I was trying to re-do them today, and the temperature and humidity weren't right and they hazed. I'm going to try again tomorrow.

Specs for OEM brakes:

'05+ Sedan and Coupe, '06 Sedan X
Front: 12.6-inch X 1.1-inch power-assisted vented disc - 2 pistons
Rear: 12.1-inch X .63-inch power-assisted vented disc - 1 piston

Questions - Can you swap out the rears and use two sets of front calipers/rotors for the front/rear brake setup? Does anyone know if this is possible or has done this? Considering I can source a front set for cheap, is it even worth it?

Just curious.

^Are you asking if you can swap your brakes to 05+ by using the calipers and rotors? If so, yes, it's been done many times.

^ I have a 2006 sedan. I know alot of 03/04 guys upgraded their OEM brakes to the 2005+ brake setups, I just didn't know if anyone had swapped out their rears for a front set back there in order to run 2 front sets for their brake setup. Not sure if it's possible.

He's asking whether he can use two sets of fronts calipers/rotors. He wants to use larger calipers and rotors on his rears. I don't think anyone has done this before.

Like Ash said many have upgraded their brakes to 05+.

You really wouldn't need it... and they would probably end up causing problems because they would be trying to share your stopping.

I wouldn't bother with it, you're going to need brackets to make the larger calipers fit in the back.

Oh I didn't understand at first.

Yeah, like 4DGS said, you'll probably do more harm than good, and it would still be a pain to do and require a good bit of custom fabricating because the rear brake design differs significantly from the front.

^ Thanks, I didn't know if modifications would have been necessary. Thought they were fine if you just moved over the calipers with the larger rotors too.

Don't think I need a BBK but I'd like more from the OEM brakes. Installed Stoptech SS lines and didn't notice too much of a difference. Guess I'll upgrade the rotors and pads next.

I have so many questions for the owner of this car.

The first one is simply: Why?!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Infin...fCarsQ5fTrucks

From the listing:

"I have spent over at least two thousand dollars into this car. " Yeah I can tell...rofl.

"This car turns heads anywhere, and caused a couple of accidents (oops!)." I bet it does, people are like what the...

^ It's like a rolling list of ugly. Fell off a highway and hit all the ugly embankments on the way down to the ugly river.

The most awesome mod is -

LED strips EVERYWHERE on exterior and interior
Dual exhaust tips underneath the rear license plate
Dryer machine aluminum tubing intake
Ruff Ryders emblems on front seat upholstery
18" Diamond Dawg rims (with no scratches!)
White underglow light kit

I wonder if he earned the respect with his g35 by street racing. Marcus you need to post this on the ugly G35 thread. So much epicness. What's Canibeat's slogan? "Break necks all day?"

I would have put it in the ugly thread but couldn't grab the image code. I'll try and figure it out when I get home.

Hey guys, some dumb *** ladie backed into my 04 sedan and now i need a rear bumper. I was thinking about using this opportunity to upgrade my bumper. Does anyone know of any good options or have a factory bumper for sale.. I was looking at the sigma duraflex kit but i hate how these companys never guarantee fit. I never bought a kit before and I seen my share of disasters. I dont want my $30,000 looking like some civic project. Well please give me suggestions if possiable. And here is the link of the kit....
