How do you fix air bubbles?
You are having the exact same symptoms that I had after changing my coolant a few months ago. As everyone else has said, there is more than likely air in the system. Do you also hear a faint water bubbling sound when you accelerate from a stop? Mine has made this sound both times after the coolant was changed and didn't stop until all of the air was purged.

Also, no way would I take it to a dealer to have the system flushed. More than likely there will still be air in it even after they do that.

I'm too busy today to go to the dealer, so I'll check out the air bubbles with my sister's fiance when i get home tomorrow. I removed my coolant cap when I had NISMO ones so that is probably where they came from.

Thanks, guys

and the plot thickens....

seriously i dont think it was cause of that if you did it when the engine was cold.... no air pockets should form BUT... if you bought a fake nismo off ebay, it might not pressuring the system enough. I forgot what the caps are rated at for the sedans but i know the coupe/350z/ REAL nismo are higher pressure. Fake ebay nismo might be faulty...

^ if that is the case. take it off and do what i said just start up the engine. its going to spill out a bit of coolant not crazy but run it for 15-30 minutes. You will spill out maybe a quart or so and then put on the OEM one.

i think you should good to go after.

In fact, it would probably be harder to track down just that little strip by itself.
Thanks, I'll see what I can find for both.

This question came up and I didn't know the answer.

Is the Mt. Fuji emblem on our front grill interchangeable between the 03-04 and 05-06? Obviously the grills themselves are different, but do they use the same Mt. Fuji emblem?

No, the mounting points are different.
