i ordered the rare jdm polish wire cover and for some reason the 2 screws that gone into the top of the timing chain cover wont go in ... i have to use my old ones ... anyone else had this problem .... i emailed them and told them about it .. it seems like the ones they sent me are just a little to big and i dont want to strip anything out .. imo now is looks like crap and if you try and put it on there you cant even get anything on top of it to screw it done cause the other screw above is dead smack in the way ... anyone ????

Looks like you need to put the bottom one in first, then the other next. Without the cover on at all, can you put the bolts they sent into the timing cover? or they just won't go in at all like that as well?

The screws that go into the timing cover can be tough to screw in. You have to push down the cover very firmly on top of the timing cover and then install each screw. Also it is kinda tough to screw it in with the top screw sticking out like that. I remember that I had to use the allen tool at an "angle" because the screw stuck out too far and I could use it straight up and down. When you use it at an angle push down firm and go slow, you don't want to strip the screw.

If the bolts don't even fit outside of trying to put the cover on, that is weird. Never heard of that being an issue.
