I'm sure there are subtle differences in the factory tune, imo they drive differently.
Wait I have an '04. So by mechanical fans you mean rad cooling fans? And because they're mechanical they are on as the engine runs?

Calling all X owners!
Does anyone here have Kinetix Racing Front adjustable Camber Control Arms on their G35x? Want to know if this setup will work on my car. Got some info that this would fit on my car but wanted to make sure. But since its awd I wanted to double check!

Quick question...what is the cruising RPM on a 6MT? At highway speeds say...70 or 80, what RPM does the coupe sit at?

Yes, the fan is belt driven. Look to see if you have one, if not you have late 04 car with wideband, coolest thing about that is you can tune by data logging.

Really?! I thought a 6MT would have a lower rpm on the final gear.

My '04 5AT sedan sits at 2700rpm at 75mph.

Is it possible to swap the entire center console from an 05-06 into an 04 (center dash/stereo/HVAC included)? I kinda prefer everything on my 2004 over later models... except for the center console.

Chrome rear spoiler

Hey guys....

Do any of you know if the OEM rear spoiler with the chrome finish from the '08 + sedans can be fitted onto an earlier model sedan (05)? I have been thinking about putting that spoiler on my car seeing as it matches the chrome finish door handles.

If I order Stance coilovers new, anyone know how much extra they charge to get custom Swift springs installed, and the shock revalved for it (because I'll be doing more than a 2kg raise in rates).

What's up guys. This summer, I am looking to add an exhaust, high flow cats and a CAI. My question is do I need to "tune" my ecu? I did a little research and found that you can get an Osiris or Cobb AP tune. But those are like 600-700 dollars and I feel like that would only be necessary if I get into serious modification. It has also come to my understanding that you can reset your ecu and it will "learn" and adapt to the changes and hopefully give me more power. Is this true? Would it be possible for me to download a program specific to our vehicle, buy the cable that connects to the ecu and do something?

You need an Osiris tune, and its going to cost you around $500. But it will make your car awesome... Just check out this thread for some reviews of everything from stock cars to heavily modded:

https://g35driver.com/forums/tuner-d...heets-ftw.html

Just FYI you DON'T have to go on a dyno to get tuned, its very easy and a lot more affordable to do it remotely with the uprev cable and a datalogs back and forth with a tuner, but you don't get a pretty sheet to post up when you do that

Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any specific questions about how it works
