Drove until the fuel lights came on twice yesterday. Went about 320 miles on last tank with A/C on all the time, sometimes idling before getting in, and mixed driving. Used 87-88 octane. Does elevation of where you are driving make a difference? I am at around 4500 feet above sea level.

This last tank I've averaged 20.2mpg all city driving. Lets just say this driving style almost isn't worth the savings haha.

I am always energetic about my driving style, but like to see the mpg to make sure things seem on the up n up.. In this ridiculously hot humid summer weather this year, I actually averaged 21mpg on the last fillup, best i've gotten on a vehicle in a long time! The ac was on anytime I was in the car too.. I use 92/93 octane fwiw

I get a good 300-320 miles before the light turns on. I run 93 and drive pretty spirited.

I agree that there is many factors when it comes to mpg. Roughly though I can get 350 to 400+ give or take.

I've gone 391.4 miles on my current tank and my gas light hasn't come on yet. A/C has been on the whole time and I've got a crapload of stuff in the trunk.

300-350 on the highway. I average 20-23mpg overall. My trip to work is 100 miles each way of interstate at 80-85...except when I can go faster.

Luckily I don't have to go in every day.

On track days I have gotten 200-220 miles before the light came on. I don't think I have ever made 400 on a tank.

I just got 401 miles cruising range prior to fill-up on my 5AT. This was with 70% hwy / 30% city driving. I have always filled with 93 octane, synthetic oil.

Got a new record for my car on the drive from Mobile, Alabama to Port Arthur Texas

436 miles, took 17.3 gallons to fill up on arrival.

370 miles interstate, the rest was city.

That equates to an average 25.2 MPG.

I even dropped it into 3rd at 80 and had a bit of fun a few times...

Even if I;m easy on the gas I still only get a little above 300 miles. Is this how all your cars are or is there something wrong with mine?

It is a bone stock 2004 G35 btw.

Anything will help.

Thanks.
Something is wrong with yours. I'm averaging 416 miles/tank on my 2004 in the 6 years 11 months since I purchased it. Overall average city/highway.

On a few trips (with tailwind?) I've had 500 miles before I chickened out and filled up. Which, if I were to run it until the tank ran dry, would have been over 540 miles.
