Exclamation Odd Ride Height/Wheel Gap

I had spacers and rear camber arms installed on Fri. Now I have almost .25" less wheel gap in the rear than it did before Can spring sit lower over time (6 months) or do I have a rear shock issue? My car doesnt bounce at all.

Wonder if the camber/toe/caster settings caused this. Definitely needs another alignment.

If you added camber that would have dropped your rear a tad. Also depends on when you took the initial measurement. If it was before the Springs settled then that may be part of it too.

but it changed the same day. Springs shouldnt take 6mo to settle Started .25" wheel gap higher in the AM. Lower in the PM. Its the wheel gap that has changed.

Oh, didn't realized it had changed that much in the same day. What are you before and after alignment specs, did they give you a summary sheet with that info?

Going on Tues to get the alignment. I have no clue what the current specs are after the install. Just hoping i didnt blow a shock. No bouncing. I will say, my car handles like crap (rear seems to fishtail when changing lanes at high speeds)

Obviously, the wheels are sitting straight up now.

You're not lower, you just look lower because your camber is in spec now.

You are fishtailing or as we call it catwalking because your toe is off. Im assuming you installed toe bolts with the rear camber arms so thats why you are handling funny

actually, I have alot of camber going right now as I didnt want to rub pre roll. I am thinking its caster that has caused the wheel gap to reduce. Who knows though Will get a pic up later.

Running the stock toe bolts opposed the Ichiba. Though we did remove them initially.

Since you didnt put the new toe bolts in you wont be able to use the camber arms to the fullest extent. The camber arms and toe bolts work together. When they do your alignment they wont be able to put as much
+ camber back in because you didnt replace the toebolts

the shop felt that they could bore out the toe bolt holds based on the plate where they fit

I want to run around -2.7 or -2.8 so I should be ok. Main purpose I wanted the arms was to prevent the suspension from sagging to much over time. Hell, we were able to get near 0* when we first put them on.

Well, problem solved! Toe was the biggest issue and camber was way off . After adjustment, the stance is perfect and the front came down a touch as well.

Left Rear
Camber Before: -4.0
Camber After: -2.7

Toe Before: -1.13
Toe After: .19

Right Rear:
Camber Before: -4.1
Camber After: -2.6

Toe Before: -1.01
Toe After: .15

Holy crap, that toe was OFF! No wonder your car felt darty, it was about ready to put you into the weeds!

Are the alignment specs you posted within factory spec? I know I could search, but tons of n00bs refuse to do it every day. If you can't beat 'em...

Front camber and all toe specs are w/i spec. Rear is obviously not, but I like me a bit of camber

Driving in the rain was a VERY interesting experience
