How many o2 sensors do we have?

Playing around with my obd2 scanner with recording live data. Do we have 4 sensors? 2 on each bank with 1 after cat? Or is it three? My scanner seems to show data for 4 sensors.

Trying to deciper the data I have regarding short term and long term fuel trims and o2 sensor voltages. Awesome diagnostic tool.

Btw, for matter of information. When I clear codes and reset the readiness monitors, I was able to reset them within 25 miles on one start. So this car doesn't take long to be ready for inspection after wiping codes (assuming the codes doesn't come back). I did it three times on three different days. Was trying to prove to a coworker it doesn't take 50 starts to reset the readiness monitors.

Thanks. In that case it looks like 3 are ranging in spec and 1 is slightly almost out of spec....might be why my long term fuel trim is creeping up on that bank.

No cel...so something to watch.

Did i say awesome diagnostic tool?

It's ust an OBD2 scanner capable of live data feed.

Many models will do it, mine is this one, but there are cheaper models that also display live data

You are correct, we have 4 total sensors.

Readiness moniters can set in matter of 20 miles and one drive cycle. I know this because i was doing exactly what you were doing. I reset the faults, drove 10 miles to work and everything was set minus EVAP, it triggered on my way home.

This is a LOT faster then early OBD2 cars which literally needs about 100+ miles driven. When i did my G, i was testing a 98 maxima, the maxima took 150 miles to trigger the EVAP and CAT EFF.

I did mines thru TORQUE and Bluetooth app. Total cost was about $35-40

What code EXACTLY, I think there's a total of 12-16 possible codes for O2 sensors.

Yes we have 4 total O2 sensors, the upstream ones in the headers are the A/F sensors, the downstream ones past the cats are the catalyst efficiency sensors.
