The "Slip" light comes on after driving for a while. Does not blink (like when the wheels are really slipping). Dealer service guy says "Maybe pads are low, maybe a the slip module is bad. Bring it in we'll take a look at it."
Pads have tickler scraper thingie to give you that sweet noise when they're low. Can't be low pads causing the light. Pads under 36k mi warranty anyway. Anyone else with "Slip" light on all the time?

Ya, my Slip light seems like it is on all the time, even after the brake pads we replaced. I often wondered what is controlling the idiot light? At first I thought maybe all the brake dust was covering the sensor or something but even after I wash it the light always comes on?
Sometimes the light comes on right away when you start the car, and sometimes you drive for a while, but it always seems to come on.
I don't really care much because it disables the VDC. I fell like the VDC is to sensitive in my car, the first time it kicked in it scared the crap out of me !@#%&*! I was going around a right-handed corner at speed and it took over and pulled the car into the left lane, thank god there was nothing coming the other way or I would have been dead so I leave it off most of the time, or I should say the slip light comes on and disables it anyway.

I've located a Infiniti TSB for this problem, but it's for 2003 G35. Mine is a 2004, but was built 7/2003, one month into 2004 model year. I guess they didn't do the fix.

The slip light came on on my car a while back when the brake fluid level was low. If it's low, topping it off should turn off the light.
The slip light no longer comes on. The brake fluid was down, but not yet to min, but I put some in anyway.

make sure you check the reason why your fluids were low. Mine hit low because the dealer tech forgot to tighten a few washers! That was a nasty cleanup.
