Question 100,000 - 120,000 mile Maitenance - Schedule, Suggestions?

I've searched and gone to Infiniti's website, but I cannot find the recommended maintenance service for and '04 G35 Sedan (Inf website only goes back to '06).

Last major service I did at the dealer was 90K, and after that they were always hitting me for extra BS like wipers. I got tired of it and just changed the oil the last few times elsewhere.

Does anyone have the official 100K or 120K schedule (I'm at 112K)? Does it just repeat (60K =120K?) I know there has to be other stuff like Spark Plugs though - what about timing belt?

I don't see anything about plugs, but I think they are normally changed out around 100K. I'm going to change mine at 60K though so if yours are still original I would definitely do it. I would check the invoice or call the dealer about the 90K service and see if they changed them.

As far as timing belt goes, I think these cars have chains and I'm not sure if they're even replaceable.

+1 I am in the same position. Almost hitting 120k fast. I have already change my spark plugs at 60k and my belts at around 80k due to cracking. And my last major service was the 90k service. For the 120k service i was thinking that the water pump might need to replaced also [going to be expensive : ( ] although the service manual doesn't say when that needs to be replace.

OP since your in the IE you may want to hit Joe from Allison Auto Repair. He does good work for a good price especially if you bring in all the supplies.

After 105k, IIRC, you just repeat the schedules again. Plugs should be replaced at 105 but i usually replace it before that time.

Your G doesn't have a timing belt, it has chains which were designed to last the life of the vehicle. Unless something is wrong, you shouldn't have to replace the chain.

Yeah, I couldn't find anything about plugs either on that generic schedule and it's hard to compare service to service only seeing one at a time. I really can't imagine an '06's schedule would be that different from an '04; The '06 has plugs listed at 105K across all schedules.

'06 schedule should be exactly the same as '04. Sounds like you need to go ahead and change the plugs then. Just go ahead and do the 120K schedule when you hit that and then start over at 30K. I don't think there is really a schedule to replace anything not on those lists because you pretty much just replace them as they break.

What about fluids? I haven't done anything to my car and it's at 101k. Looking to do the trans fluid and the spark plugs.

if you haven't done anything, i suggest:

power steering fluid - oem or redline
differential fluid (if awd, front and rear) - mobil 1 75w90
transfer case fluid (only for awd) - oem matic d
transmission fluid - oem matic s, drain & fill only (repeat again 2x after 10k miles since you're not doing a full flush)
coolant flush

in terms of plugs, go with NGK Iridium IX 4469. i'd also replace the oem drive belts. and then your regular stuff like cabin filter, air filter, & oil change. heck it wouldn't hurt to throw im some fuel / injector cleaner like redline si-1. and check wear and tear items like wipers, brakes & tires. someone feel free to chime in if i'm missing something or posted something incorrect but i'd consider this a good tune-up.
