^I doubt you'll find them there either. I couldn't find them at either. Look for a quality hardware store in your area. They will likely have multiple type head bolts as well.

You can get them all for about $10 plus shipping from here. Save you some time running around trying to find the bolts at the hardware stores.

I believe that means they have a diamter of 6mm. Just use that link G35papa posted. All your bolts should be on that page.Originally Posted by trunick

I did and didnt find a M6 bolt just 6mm bolts so I wanted to make sure before I ordered them. Thank you everyone for the help! Oh I also was wondering if I would have to get a tune or if my car would be ok and get all the performance out of the spacer with just a CAI and axelback exhaust. I have an 05 sedan 5a/t.

Don't bother with a tune for just a spacer if you plan on doing more things later. But if you're finished with mods, go ahead and get one.

M6 = 6mm
Google: Albuquerque fasteners
Try Barnhill Bolt, looks like they have a good selection.

The only thing I want to do is a Y pipe and delete the res. or if I can find a local coupe mid pipe that would be nice. I dont really want to touch the cats because i have to do emmisions every two years and i hear its a pain to switch them out. I really want to just throw a 75 shot in it and be done but I had to replace the head gaskets twice on another car i had because i was very trigger happy with my nitrous so it scares me. So I guess I should wait until after I get the Y and do the delete or coupe mid before i tune it.
swivelhips- thanks for the help I didnt realize there was so many bolt places around town. Im not going to be able to go bolt shopping until tomorrow so ill let everyone know if I had any luck...if anything Ill just order them from that website G35papa told me about...i just hate to wait anymore then I have to I want to install this thing already and see what kind of gains i get. Here in Albuquerque my best time was 15.434 at the drag so Im really hoping to at least hit 15.3 with the spacer.
I found all the bolts I needed at True Value Hardware store for $11.00. Now I am just waiting for the spacer to come in from Motordyne. Thank you everyone for your help!
Well I installed the Spacer and It really doesnt feel different I guess only times will tell. Ill be taking it to the drag strip hopefully this weekend so Im hoping to go from 15.4 to 15.3 at least. Thank you everyone for the help! Oh and i did disconnect the neg side of the battery before i started the install. the only difference i noticed was a better shift from 1st to 2nd...I just hate that my car doesnt downshift to first unless i do it manually or im going like 20 mph. The only other mods i plan on doing is a res. delete and y pipe then hopefully i can get a tune soon after.

Glad I came across this thread!
I just bought a used MD 5/16" plenum spacer and it only comes with the spacer and the 6 plastic spacers. I email Motordyne to see how much the extended bolts would be and they said $48 shipped!! Way too much for some bolts. I'll be ordering them off that website for $11...
I don't get how you got the plastic spacers from MD for $10, and the bolts only cost another $11 online, yet MD wants almost $50 for "their" bolt set...am I missing something?? Oh yeah, the $30 thread lock...must be it

Ok now for the stupid question of the day.... I bought a used motordyne 5/16"spacer with bolts....but no nylon spacers.... what are the dimensions of the spacers?? Are they exactly 5/16" thick??
